With a total area of about 7.8 sq. miles, Alma is located in the County of Buffalo and is also the county seat of it. It is surrounded by a town of the same name. Some important interesting points is the Alma Fishing Float, River Mississippi, No.4 Dam, nesting place of the Bald Eagle, Castlerock Museum.
