Alorton (formerly named Alcoa) is a village in St. Clair County, Illinois. Its population at the 2000 census was 2,749.
The village was home to Cahokia Downs, an American horse racing track which hosted a number of races from 1954 through 1979.
The village population predominantly comprises African Americans.
