Altamonte Springs is a city in Seminole county in Florida state. As per the 2010 census, its population was 41,496. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name in Spanish means "high hill". It has a number of options for recreation, including restaurants, an 18 screen theatre, parks and a sports complex.
