A small inhabited town of Kanawha and Lincoln counties, it is situated beside the Coal river. Alum Creek has a total area of about 10 sq. miles. The place is quite famous for its swinging bridges, Lions club Park, Forks of Coal Missionary Baptist Church among others. After the demarching of coal mining and other chemical industries, the town is witnessing the arrival of new business. The Holley Hills Estate is a historical attraction.
