Antwerp is a village in Paulding County, Ohio. It is located along the banks of the Maumee River. It is named after the major Belgian city, Antwerp. It has a total area of 1.2 square miles, all of which is land. The village was established in mid eighteenth century. Historically, farming and logging are important activities here, and became so after the extensive swamps and marshes here were drained.
