Argyle is a small town of Washington County in the U.S state of New York. Argyle is located in the MSA of Glens Falls. There is also a village of the same name located on the outskirts of the town. It has a total area of about 150 sq. miles. The highway, NY route no. 40 runs on a north-south direction of the town. There are a number of scenic geographic locations in and around the town like the lake of Cossayuna, Barkley mountain and others. This attracts a large number of tourists in the area.
