    Brief Information About Augusta

    Augusta has a total area of about 0.9 sq. miles and is located at an elevated point of about 805 ft. Augusta is located in the County of Kalamazoo and in the state of Michigan. The village of Augusta is a part of the Ross Township and the southern part of the village extends upto the township of Charleston. There are a number of schools in the area and some points of interest are the Barn theatre, Recreation Area of Fort Custer and others. Wayne Lamb is a notable resident of the village. Tourism, shops and stores are some of the main economic activities of the region.
