Aurora is a city in Marion County, Oregon. It is part of the Salem Metro Area, and was established as a religious commune by Dr. William Keil in 1856. He named it after his daughter. It has a total area of 0.4 square miles, all of which is land. To the east of the city is the Pudding River.

Manufacturing, public administration, professional, scientific, and technical services are the major commercial activities here. The North Marion School District operates four public schools here, the North Marion Primary School, North Marion Intermediate School, North Marion Middle School, and North Marion High School. The local airport is the Aurora State Airport. The closest hospital is Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center, located about 10 miles away in Tualatin.
