Austinville is a small village community located amidst the counties of Caroll and Wythe in Virginia. With a total area of about 2130 ft. above the ground level, the State Park of River Trail runs through almost the center of Austinville. There is the historical state park of Shot Tower, which attracts substantial number of tourists in the area round the year. The small village of Austinville is named after S.F. Austinville, who is a native of this village-town. Apart from the local Post office, other inhabitants are primarily engaged with agriculture, tourism and trade.
