Balboa is a neighborhood of Newport Beach in the Orange County of California State. It is located on a peninsula. The city of Balboa is named after a famous Spanish Explorer named Vasco Nunez de Balboa. Most of the local business is concentrated along the the Boulevard of Balboa which is beside the Pacific Coast Highway. There are a number of historical buildings in the town, which helps the growth of the tourism industry in the area. Some of these historical buildings are Balboa Fun zone, Balboa Pier, The Wedge among others. Local residents are engaged in multiple economic activities to earn a living.
