Bean Station is a city in Grainger County, Tennessee. It is part of the Morristown Metro Area. It was incorporated in 1996. It is named after William Bean, one of the first settlers here, and possibly the first white settler in the state.
Furniture and related product manufacturing, construction, truck transportation are the major commercial activities here. Bean Station Elementary is the local public school. Citizens Bank and Citizens Bank and Trust Company of Grainger County have local branches. The closest hospital is the Lakeview Regional Hospital, located about 7 miles away, in Morristown.
