<p>Bellaire city is located in the southeastern part of Haris County. The city of Bellaire falls within the area of Sugar Land- Houston -Baytown metropolitan area. Bellaire city has a total area of about 9.5 sq. kms. It is situated 44 ft. above the sea level. The local administration offers conducive climate for the growth and development of a large number of industries. Development of the local economy is enhanced by consultation services, automobile services, hospitality, real estate, apparels etc. The city is also a center to businesses related to accounting agencies, adult and continuing agencies, architectual firms, business consultancies, hotels and restaurants, taverns and bars etc. Agriculture also contributes substantially in the growth and development of the local economy. This is generally centered around the local farmers' market. It offers an important contribution for the growth and development of farm equipment sales and servicing centers, food processing and manufacturing services, vegetable and fruit supplies, bakeries and diary industries in the area. Commercial property within the city is also rented for a variety of shops like art and craft, hardware stores, art galleries, manicures and pedicures, night clubs and resale shops. The local economic development agency also contributes in a positive way by providing work force for the growth and development of all kinds of industries and businesses and help the individuals to contribute for development of the community in a positive way.</p>
