Bethlehem is a small community town of the township with the same name. It is located in the County of Clark, which is about 25 miles up the Ohio river from Louisville, Kentucky. Bethlehem is quite close to the border of Jefferson County in the U.S. state of Indiana. The farmland rises above the flood plain and it historically increased the requirement of transporting goods via the Ohio River. Local residents are primarily engaged in agriculture and related trade. Education is also a part of local economic activity.
