There are a number of Public schools in the area and most of them cater to the surrounding community. </p>

<p>The beautiful and scenic Chikaskia river is located neaby and is a center of many recreational activities. The area consists of many places registered in the National register of Historic Places. Local education and the media industry is fairly advanced. The local infrastructure and the transportation sector are equally well developped. The city also boasts of a good regional hospital. </p>
