Bowdoin is a small town of Sagadahoc County in the Northeastern U.S. State of Maine. Bowdoin is also said to be a part of the Potland-South-Portland-Biddeford, Maine statistical area. It has a total geographical area of about 44 sq. miles. It is well connected by U.S. Route No. 25, 201 and 125. Bowdoin also borders the towns of Sabattus and Lisbon in the west, Topsham in the south, Litchfield in the north, Bowdoinham and Richmond in the east. There are a number of river crossing the town like Dead, Little and Cathance. The education sector is served by the No. 75 Maine School Administrative District. Some residents are engaged with the education sector. Mike McHugh is a notable inhabitant of the town. Some local residents are also engaged with the service sector.
