Brevard is a small town located in the County of Transylvania in the U.S state of North Carolina. Brevard is also said to be the County seat of Transylvania County. Brevard is situated near the National fort's of Pisgah. This forest with plenty of flaura and fauna helps to attract a large number of tourists in the area. Brevard has a total area of about 13 sq. kms. and located at an elevated height of about 2230 ft. above the ground level. Here is the Brevard College and the Brevard Music Center located here  and this helps to attract a significant number of students in the area.
