Brocton is a city of Plymouth County in the state of Massachusetts. It is the County seat of Plymouth County. Brocton has a total area of about 22 sq. miles. Brocton is also the 7th largest city in the state of Masachussetts. The town is also known as the windiest city in the whole of United States with an average wind speed of about 14.4 mph. It has an urban setting and lies just along the Plain river of Salisbury.  There are three hospitals in the area. The education sector is quite advanced with a number of schools that offer substantial amount of employment oppurtunities in the region. There is a long list of Historic places which are of great interest for visitors of the town and also attracts a large number of tourists in the area. Tourism and education are some of the principal areas of employment.
