Brooklin is a small town of Hancock County in the state of Maine. Brooklin is home to a boat yard, a number of boat-builders, musicians, writers, potters and other qualified professionals. Brooklin has a total area of about about 41.5 sq. miles. It is situated beside the Benjamin river overlooking the bay of Jericho. There are a number of historical sites in the area like the Brooklin IOOF Hall, Chapel of Beth Eden and the E.B. White House. Some famous people of the town are E.G. Balch, Ben Marcus and Paul Sullivan. Tourism is an important part of the local economy.
