Buxton is a town of York County in the U.S. State of Maine. Buxton is a part of Portland-Bidderford and Portland-South, MMSA. Buxton also includes the villages of Chicopee, Salmon Falls, Bar Mills among others. Buxton has a total area of about 41 sq. miles. Buxton borders the town of Scarborough, Gorham, and Saco. There are many historical places of interest like Historical Society Museum of Buxton-Hollis, Meeting House of Tory Hill and the Powder House.
