Buxton is a city of Trail County in the U.S. State of North Dakota. With a total area of about 0.6 sq. kms., Buxton is elevated from the ground by about 933 ft. The city has been named after T.J. Buxton, a city treasurer of Minneapolis from the state of Minnesota.
A majority of the local residents are primarily engaged with tourism, education and other service oriented industries like education. Architect K. Nomland is a notable person of Buxton.
