The location of Carr is in the County of Weld at the state of Colorado. The railroad of Union Pacific passes through the town of Carr. The town is said to be named after a former employee of Union Pacific, R.E. Carr. He managed the construction of the rail-line, which passes through the town. Though there is a lack of major economic activities in the town, most of the residents keep themselves engaged with local trade. Others are mainly related with education, stores and shops.
