Centreville is a city in and the county seat of Bibb County, Alabama. It has a total area of 9.7 square miles. 9.5 square miles of it is land and 0.2 square miles (1.75%) is water. Centreville was established as the county seat in 1829, and incorporated in 1832.

The Bibb County Public School District supervises and administers the public school system in Centreville. This includes Bibb County High School and Centreville Middle School.
