With a total area of about 36 sq. kms., Clarksdale is a city of Coahoma County in the Missisippi State. It has an elevation of about 175 ft. from the ground. The city is named after John Clark, brother in law of politician J.L. Alcorn. There is a plantation home of J.L. Alcorn.
