Clarkston is a town located in the County of Cache in Utah. The town is named after an early settler, I.J. Clark. Clarkston falls within the area of Logan, Idaho-Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. With a total area of about 2.6 sq. kms., the town is located at a height of about 4880 ft. above the sea level. A major part of the local residents are white in their racial origin, and are primarily involved in the local service activities in and around the town. Some are also involved with local shops and stores, agricultural activities in the region. Seasonal tourism is also an important part of the local economy.
