Cleveland is a city of Bolivar county in the Mississippi state. Cleveland has a total area of about 20 sq. kms and is situated at an elevated height of about 140 ft from the ground level. The County of Bolivar is named after a South American liberator Simon Bolivar. It is also one of the two County seats of Bolivar, the other one being Rosedale.  The education sector is quite well established with a number of schools and colleges in the area. There are also some government and administrative departments in the city fo tackling fire and health related emergencies. The media industry is quite developed with a number of newspaper, radio and television stations located in and around the city. These offer a number of employment oppurtunities for the locals.
