Clinton is a city located in the County of Hinds in the US state of Mississippi. It is a part of the Metropolitan area of Jackson. It is also the tenth largest city in the state of Mississippi. It occupies a total area of about 109 sq. kms. with an elevated height of about 360 ft. above the ground level. Some of the prominent employers in the area is Verizon and Delphi Corp., although the latter has now moved to Warren in Ohio. Other prominent employers are a large number of Public schools and other different types of educational institutes operating in the area. The residents of the city are also involved with healthcare, tourism and retail.
