Creola is a city in Mobile County, Alabama. It was designated as a town as late as the 2000 census. It is part of the Mobile Metro Area. It has a total area of 15.5 square miles. 14.6 square miles of the area is land and 0.9 square miles of it (5.62%) is water.

Construction, manufacturing, quarrying, finance and insurance operations are the major economic activities of the area. Public education is handled by the North Mobile County Middle Schools. The closest hospital is the University of South Alabama Medical Center, located about 14 miles away in Mobile.
