The village of Dexter is located in the county of Washtenaw. It covers a total area of 5.0 sq. km. The local inhabitants are engaged in businesses related to industries involved in advertising, aviation, arts and crafts, automotive, finance, beverages, boat equipments, construction, apparel, information technology, pharmaceuticals, developmental health, freight forwarding, furniture upholstery, insurance, industrial and commercial machinery, landscaping equipments, metal, photographic equipments and transport, contributing to the local economic development. Commercial spaces are utilized by yogurt shops and campgrounds.
