Douglas has a total area of about a sq. kms. with an elevation of about 1267 ft. from the ground level. It is located in the County of Otoe. Only a handful of residents live here and they are primarily engaged in different types of service oriented activities in and around the region. Some are also involved with local health and elementery education facilities in and aroud the region. A few are also involved in regional tourism.
