Abbreviated as EPA, East Palo Alto is a city in the San Mateo County of California, USA. It is located between the cities of San Francisco and San Jose.
With an area of 2.61 square miles, the city supports a population of 28,155 residents as per the 2010 Census. The city has experienced a high number of crimes in the past which gradually came under control. It also largely benefited during the technology boom in the Silicon Valley in the 90s.
East Palo Alto houses the headquarter of the Ravenswood City School District. Several elementary schools and academic centers are included in it. The East Palo Alto Library is operated by the San Mateo County Library.
The Dumbarton Bridge is a significant ecological area with a large variety of birds, fishes and mammals it supports.
