Fontana is the name of a city in the San Bernardino County of California. It remained a rural area until an entrepreneur built a large steel mill post the World War II. Today, the city has transformed into a hub of trucking industry.
Well connected though highways and state Routes, the city is home to some of the largest libraries, theater, Municipal Park, and the Auto Club Speedway. The main industries are the trucking and the industrial equipment sales. There are also multiple product distribution centers of Toyota, Mercedes and Sears etc. Fontana also has several shopping centers.
The city also hosts the fastest half marathon course in the world.
