Freedom is a small town located in the County of Carroll in the U.S. State of New Hampshire. The eastern boundary of the town runs along the state border of Maine. The lake of Ossipee is the center of major tourist attraction.
Freedom has a total area of about 99 sq. kms and is situated at an elevated height of about 440 ft. from the ground level. There is a museum of Allard House & Works, and it is a member of Freedom Historical Society.
Most of the locals are primarily engaged with the service industry. Mr. F.S. Black is a notable person of the town.
