Georgetown has a total area of about 1.8 sq. kms. and is located at an elevated height of about 6045 ft. from the ground level. Georgetown is located in the County of Bear Lake, in the valley of the Bear River. Farming is an important economic activity of the region and most of the locals are engaged in it. U.S. Route No. 30 criss-cross the town. Other local residents are engaged with shops and stores, education, health etc.
