Great Neck Plaza is a village located in the town of North Hempstead in Nassau County, New York, United States. The village is on the Great Neck Peninsula on the North Shore of Long Island. It was incorporated on May 3, 1930. Great Neck Plaza comprises a hectic commercial district, two parks, as well as a residential section with lots of multiple dwellings and private homes. The village is protected by the Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct located in Manhasset, and fire protection is provided by two volunteer departments such as Vigilant Hook & Ladder and Manhasset–Lakeville Fire Department.
