Brief Information About Kauai


Kauai is known as the oldest among all the main islands of Hawaii. It is among the 21st largest island of the U.S. The State Canyon Park of Waimea is located here. The origins of Kauai are volcanic in nature and the formation of passage is made by Pacific Plate and is just over the Hawaiian Hotspot. It is also one of the wettest spots on earth and many scenic waterfalls are located here. The coast of Na Pali is a major center of recreation amidst wild natural settings. Recreational sports and tourism like kayaking and hiking are some of the most popular outdoor activities. These are also a major source of revenue for the locals apart from other types of small businesses.
