An island town in the Miami-Dade County of Florida, Key Biscayne lies to the south of Miami Beach, east of Miami. The city has the Atlantic Ocean to its east. The town measures a total area of 1.4 square miles with a population of 12,344 as per the 2010 Census.
Key Biscayne has several hotels, Clubs and condominiums. The town has a fire station and is a hub of fishing and water sports activities. It has a golf course and hosts the Sony Open Tennis Tournament.
