Brief Information About Kingman

The city of Kingman is located in the County of Mohave. It is also the County seat of Mohave County. The city was named after Lewis Kingman, who surveyed the railway route of Pacific and Atlantic Railroad. The County seat of Mohave was originally located in the Mineral Park in the settlement area of Callville. Government and the infrastructure sector offers employment oppurtunities along with local education, transportation, health and the seasonal tourism sector. The Arizona department of corrections operates a private prison in the area.
