Luke Air Force Base is a United States Air Force Base located about 11 km west of the Glendale Central Business District. It is located in the county of Maricopa. It is one of the most important training bases for the training of F-16 Fighting Falcon pilots. It is said to be the largest F-16 bases in the world and the host command is the 56th fighter wing and it operates under the Air Education & Training Commands 19 th Air force.
