<p>Lyme is located within the County of New London in Connecticut. It covers a total area of about 89.5 sq. kms. with about 27 ft from the sea level. Transport related trade and services, followed by tourism are important parts of the local economic activity. There are many places and buildings listed on the National register of historical places and this attracts a number of tourists in the area. Tourism and trade related activities are significant part of the local economy. Agriculture also helps a number of locals to earn a living in the town. </p>
