    As pack animals, wild dogs have natural instincts that favor support with their fellow dogs. Many domestic dogs in Memphis, either through instinct or breeding, can correctly interpret or respond to signals given by a human trainer. This is called pet training.

    The hardest part of training in Memphis is communicating with the pet mainly dogs in a humane way is that the dog understands. The underlying principle of all communication is simple that is reward preferred behavior while ignoring or correcting undesired behavior.     It was bound to happen, and it finally has.  On September 30, 2014, Governor Jerry Brown signed into law a bill that makes California the first state in the country to prohibit stores from offering environmentally-problematic single-use plastic bags to their customers.  SB270 provides that plastic bags will be phased out from use at supermarkets, large grocery chains and pharmacies..
