The town of Middletown is located at an elevated point of about 69 ft. It is a part of the New Castle County in the U.S. state of Delaware. Middletown has a total area of about 6.5 sq. miles. Over the last few years there has been a considerable increase in the number of food and retail chain stores in the area. This has led to the further development of the existing infrastructure. The transportation links from in and out of the county are well developed. There is a combination of road, rail and airport facilities in the area.
