Nikiski is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 4,327.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 76.2 square miles, of which, 69.6 square miles of it is land and 6.6 square miles of it (8.66%) is water.
