Ninilchik is a census-designated place located in the U.S. state of Alaska. It is within Kenai Peninsula Borough at the mouth of the Ninilchik River. It is contemplated an Alaska Native village under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. Ninilchik has been known for its overlooking the volcanoes of Cook Inlet- Mount Spurr, Mount Redoubt, Mount Iliamna and Mount St. Augustine.
