Pioche is a small community town of Lincoln County in the U.S. State of Nevada. Pioche is also the County seat of Lincoln. The town is named after a San Francisco financier named F.L.A. Pinoche.
Mining is the principal activity of the town. Parks and historic buildings attract a few tourists to the place, though it is not a major tourist attraction. Some locals residents are involved with the local school and while others are small traders.
