The unincorporated community of Salem is located in the U.S cities of Alabama state. It is within Lee County that surrounds U.S. Highway 280 in the middle of Opelika and Phenix City. It was in 1835 when early settlers began to take place. The growth development was very keen for the next two decades. In fact, Salem has been rapidly recognized among the largest cities in the area.
