The small village of Saunderstown is a historic district located in the towns of North Kingstown and Narragansett. It is located in the County of Washington of Rhode Island state. It is said to be the birthplace of Gilbert Stuart. There is also a museum here in the city. The city is also home to Casey Farm, an 18th century farm that is now a family based plantation farm of organic vegetables. Saunderstown has a local Post Office that caters to its people.
