Sayre is an unincorporated community located about 16.5 miles northwest of downtown Birmingham, Alabama. It is within Jefferson County at 33°42′44″N 86°58′28″W. Elevation is 417 feet. Sayre had once own a post office which lasted until the 5th of November 2011. It is using Zip code 35139. According to 2016 census data, Sayre total population was 246 with a density of 210 per square mile. Residents ethnicity were non-hispanic and perfectly white.
