St. Florian is a town located in Alabama and part of the Florence - Muscle Shoals Metropolitan Statistical Area. It lies in Lauderdale County at 34°52′22″N 87°37′30″W. The elevation is 627 feet above sea level. St. Florian has a total land area of 3.0 square miles with 413 people residing in the town. Races were predominantly 98.81 percent White, 0.60 percent Black, and 0.60 percent Asian. St. Florian was formerly called Wilson Stand, derived its name from the original town owners John and Matthew Wilson. As of 2010 census, St. Florian had a total population of 413 individuals. The population density was approximately 160.86/sq mi. The town was incorporated in the 1970s.
