The mission of crisis intervention services in St. Johns is to provide support, resources, and hope for a better future to persons affected by domestic abuse, sexual assault, and other crises. They believe that everyone has the right to freedom from violence and oppression. They commit themselves to this vision through intervention, prevention and education. They are advocates for social change within the community, state and nation. They offer support, empowerment and referral information 24 hours a day in St. Johns. Some of the services offered are: information and referrals, counseling and support groups, shelters, transitional housing, economic advocacy, court advocacy, medical advocacy, and community education and training.
