Uriah is an unincorporated village and census-designated place located in Alabama. It is within Monroe County at the junction of State Route 21 and State Route 59. Uriah has an elevation of 351 feet above sea level. The village was first settled during the 1870's. Uriah has an annual festival called The Cotton Patch Festival. It is home to the former American football coach Carl Madison. Uriah had a total population of 1,775 people according to the 2010 census. Estimated per capita income in 2015 was $15,395.
